Three federal charges dropped against Loughry

Suspended state Supreme Court Justice Allen Loughry’s trial will continue in federal court today. Loughry originally faced 25 federal charges, but three were dismissed before opening statements began. Those charges had to do with an antique desk Loughry was accused of taking home from the Capitol, and a related obstruction charge. Testimony will resume this morning at 9:30.
