Local School Gets Grant to Rebuild Library
A retailer is helping a library rebuild after the June 2016 floods. The new Bridge-Clendenin Elementary School has been making the best of it after combining, but they still need resources for the library. Dollar General Stores have awarded a $20,000 grant to the school through its Literacy Foundation. The school has been using a multi-purpose room as the library. The funds will help buy books and tablets for the students to read with.
