Hobet Mine site development plans

Spec Rescue International will open a training site at the Old Hobet Mine site in Boone County. The company trains first responders, military members, FEMA workers, and others how to conduct emergency operations. Adjutant General James Hoyer says the West Virginia National Guard plans to use four to five-thousand of the 12-thousand acres at the site.
