Voter turnout strong

Voter turnout of the midterm election was strong. Based on unofficial results, voter turnout was more than 47-percent. Secretary of State, Mac Warner, says he’s pleased with the participation, and commended the state’s 55 county clerks from managing the election. Six counties started Election Day with power outages, but those issues were quickly resolved.
