Electric bills could be going up

The state Public Service Commission will hear terms of a settlement with Appalachian Power Company today. The utility is seeking approval for new customer rates that would result in an over 40-million-dollar revenue increase. Residential customers’ bills could go up over five-dollars-a-month.
