Man is Arrested for Stealing a Woman’s Wallet at Kroger

A man has been arrested after court records said he stole cash from elderly woman’s wallet while she was shopping at Kroger in St. Albans last week. 18-year old Coltin Wilson of St. Albans is charged with petit larceny after the theft at Kroger on MacCorkle Ave. The woman asked Wilson to reach an item for her, and she kept shopping and checked out. She noticed her wallet was gone when she got home, and St. Albans police used video surveillance to help identify the suspect. He was seen stealing the wallet when she walked away from her shopping cart.
