Mountaineer mascots pay tribute to musket maker

Ten former Mountaineer mascots paid tribute to the man behind the musket. Gunsmith Marvin Wotring’s graveside ceremony was held over the weekend, and the former Mountaineer mascots paid tribute to him with one last shot from the muzzloaders he’d crated. Wotring was 78, and made nearly a thousand rifles over his lifetime.
