Mayor-Elect Makes Recommendation for City Clerk

Charleston’s next mayor has announced her recommendation for the city’s next clerk. Amy Goodwin recommends appointing Miles C. Cary II for the position, saying he brings not only his experience as an attorney, but as an active member of the community and military veteran. Cary is a Capital High School alum and graduate of West Virginia State University. Cary is also involved with or has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Virginia, Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club in Charleston, West Side Main Street Project and Drug Market Intervention Program.
