Gov. Tomblin Issues State of Emergency for Three Counties
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has declared a state of emergency for Braxton, Webster and Wood counties after severe flooding. The rockslides, mudslides and severe flooding came after heavy rain Sunday night and Monday morning. The governor also issued a state of preparedness for 35 more of West Virginia’s 55 counties because of more storms Monday. The state of preparedness is new…just signed into law last year.
