Kanawha Blvd
Lack of work on a paving project is causing frustration for people who commute on a major roadway.
Pot holes, a rough surface and hundreds of orange cones have been a familiar scene for people driving the Kanawha Boulevard — next to Daniel Boone Park and The Charleston Moose Lodge. Berry Wood, the manager of the Moose Lodge, is losing about a grand a month, because folks think they are closed. The project was supposed to be completed in 2015. Carrie Bly, with the W.Va. Division of Highways says the delay is blamed on utility problems crews encountered. The paving project is set to be completed by the end of summer.
