Ali’s first fight

Muhammad Ali’s very first professional fight was against a former Fayetteville Police Chief. In October of 1960, Tunney Hunsaker lost a six round decision to the then-Cassius Clay. The fight was Ali’s first as a pro and the first of many wins in the ring. Like Ali, Hunsaker died at the age of 74 in 2005.
