Tuition to Increase at WVU
Students headed back to school this fall at West Virginia University will find higher tuition and fees. The WVU Board of Governors approved the increases Friday, and that means the resident undergraduate tuition and fees will increase 4.7 percent to about $4,000 per semester, and nonresidents will pay 4.9 percent more to $11,244. For graduate students, tuition and fees will rise 5 percent to $4,500 for residents and 4.96 percent to $11,619 for nonresidents. The board also approved an increase in housing and meal plans, effective with the fall semester.
