New App Available to Help State Fair Goers

The West Virginia State Fair has a new mobile app that allows you to schedule your day, purchase tickets, find your favorite locations on an interactive map and participate in a social media-based photo hunt for a chance to win a week pass to the 2017 fair. State Fair CEO Kelly Collins says fairgoers can buy and scan tickets directly from their phones instead of waiting in line. The app also includes frequently asked questions, news and State Fair branded photo features. The fair runs Aug. 12 to 21.
