Wyane County Schools Request Delayed Start

Wayne County schools may start a little later than expected because of asbestos problems. Construction has been ongoing, and asbestos was found recently in the hallways. After a meeting this week, the Wayne County school board decided to send a request to the state to delay the start of school, and they’ve asked for August 29th to be the day. Approval is pending.
