Services Scheduled for Teen Flood Victim
Services are scheduled this weekend for a West Virginia teenager whose body was found more than a month after she was swept away by floodwaters. Fourteen-year-old Mykala Phillips’ body was found Tuesday near Caldwell, about 6 miles from her home in White Sulphur Springs. She had been missing since the June 23 floods. An obituary from Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home says graveside services and burial will be held Sunday in White Sulphur Springs. A visitation will be held Saturday at the funeral home in Lewisburg.
