Arrest Made after Random Shots Fired
A man accused of randomly shooting at cars in Charleston is facing charges. Police picked up 20-year old Charles Whiting after shots were fired at random people around 6:30am Saturday morning in the Southridge area. Detectives are working to see if Whiting might be linked to other incidents at the Kroger in Kanawha City and on Bridge Road Saturday night where there were similar reports of random gun shots. No injuries, but Whiting is facing two counts of wanton endangerment. No word yet on why Whiting was shooting.
