WV not top state for freedom

A new study finds West Virginia isn’t one of the top states for freedom. Washington, DC, think tank the Cato Institute released a study focused on state and local government intervention in people’s lives and found West Virginia ranked 39th in the nation. The study looked at factors like taxation and debt, business regulations and drug policies among other items. New Hampshire topped the list as the state with the most freedom from government, while New York finished dead last.
