Officers Unhurt After Shots Fired

Two Charleston police officers got a scare early Saturday, around 1am. They were responding to a break-in call when the suspect took off on foot, ran up a hill, and shot at the officers. Anthony Rusnak’s bullets hit a nearby house, but missed the officers. Rusnak is facing two counts of wanton endangerment and was taken to South Central Regional Jail.
