Inmate Gets More Prison Time for Escaping
An inmate has pleaded guilty to escaping the Federal Prison Camp at Alderson. Fifty-four-year-old Patricia Alfieri of New York was captured in Lewisburg on June 28 after 10 days on the run. Federal prosecutors say Alfieri faces up to five additional years in prison. Sentencing has been set for Nov. 18. She was serving a 41-month sentence for mail fraud and making a false tax return and had a scheduled release date of next February.
