A few more meetings have been added to help West Virginia homeowners get grants to reduce risks during future disasters in flood-ravaged areas. The Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management says a meeting about the federal Hazard Mitigation Grant Program will take place the evening of Oct. 18 at Midland Trail High School in Hico. Two more evening meetings will follow – one on Oct. 19 at the Gauley Bridge Community Center, and another Oct. 25 at Clay County High School Auditorium.
