Veteran’s Day Parades Planned in Charleston, Ripley, Marmet
There are several events planned today for Veteran’s Day. The 75th annual Veterans Day Parade in Charleston starts at 10 a.m. at the corner of Kanawha Boulevard and Leon Sullivan Way. That will head up to Quarrier Street and Clendenin Street before ending up at Haddad Riverfront Park for a special ceremony and then a reception will follow at the American Legion Post. There’s also a parade in Ripley…. That parade starts at 10 a.m. and will feature the Budweiser Clydesdale horses. If Marmet is closer for you, there’s a parade at 6 p.m. at the Marmet football field and ends at the Marmet Veterans Memorial.
