Memorial for Highway Workers
A memorial honoring state highway workers in West Virginia that have passed away, while working is being planned. The “Gazette” reports that the Department of Highway Safety and the Transportation Department are working on the design which will initially include about 150 fallen workers. A committee has been put in place to kick off the project and state officials hope to have it completed by next spring. The memorial will be located at the Williamstown Inter 77 welcome center.
