Army Reserve Members to Be Honored For Flood Rescues
Honors are coming to fourteen members of a Rainelle-based Army Reserve group for work on flood rescues over the summer. Members of the Army reserve ordnance will be honored on Saturday for saving lives, distributing food, clearing debris and providing shelter in Rainelle during those historic floods. The Gazette-Mail reports the volunteers got a request for aid from Rainelle Mayor Andy Pendleton and most of them were from Greenbrier County.
