Court Records Show Means Was Unarmed When He Was Shot
15-year-old James Means was shot and killed November 21st by 62-year old William Pulliam, and Pulliam had a preliminary hearing yesterday. WCHS TV reports a detective had testified that Means had a BB gun in his waistband, but during the court appearance it was revealed that Means had nothing in his hands when he was shot to death. Pulliam is charged with first degree murder after police say he shot the teen twice, once in the chest and then again in the back as the victim was running away. Magistrate Mike Sisson sent the case to a grand jury.
