UC Adds Opens New Athletic Center

A brand new athletic center is open on the University of Charleston’s campus. The Russell & Martha Wehrle Innovation Center and the H. Bernard Wehrle Sr. Athletic Facility opened Saturday with a new basketball court, coach offices and locker rooms. It’s also got new study space, with classrooms, 3-d printing and a video production lab. WCHS TV reports the project started in 2002, and the finished product has been a long time coming. There are still a few finishing touches to add, and those will be complete after the winter break.
