WorkForce West Virginia is borrowing money from the state’s Rainy Day fund. Lawmakers in Charleston were told about the loan Tuesday, which was for 50-million dollars and will help fund unemployment compensation if claims increase over the winter. A new law approved this year allows WorkForce West Virginia to take a loan for the money if funds fall below a certain level. The money must be paid back in three months.
