Drug Companies Settle

Legal action between West Virginia and two of the country’s biggest prescription drug companies is being settled. Cardinal Health and AmerisourceBergen had been accused of contributing to the state’s opioid epidemic by selling a large amount of drugs in West Virginia. However, a Boone County circuit court this week announced a settlement in the case but details haven’t been released.
