Grant Money

Science, technology, engineering and math programs at 83 West Virginia schools are getting grant money. The course work is known as STEM and is geared towards helping students prepare for the workforce. The 200-thousand dollars was awarded this week and state leaders say the number of schools involved is dramatically increasing. There were only 54 participating last year.
