Mine Inspector

A former mine inspector is taking over the West Virginia Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training. Governor Justice announced the appointment of Greg Norman yesterday to be director of the office, after Norman spent years as an inspector. Norman has risen through the ranks as a miner and laborer and also spent time as a union representative. He says his number one goal is to increase safety for coal miners in West Virginia.
