Transmission Line

The Public Service Commission has approved the right for AEP to install a new transmission line, now the work to physically create the right of way begins. AEP will be contacting landowners in northern Kanawha and Roane counties in the coming weeks. The total cost of the 25 mile transmission line and three sub-stations is expected to be around 75-million dollars. Work won’t be completed until 2019.
