Accidents Not Uncommon in I-64 Construction Zone

Another reminder to drive safely in construction zones. Several crashes on Interstate 64 West between Hurricane and Milton Monday morning had traffic at a crawl. They happened at the peak of rush hour at about 7:15 Monday morning near the Putnam-Cabell County line and were about a mile apart. That was in the construction zone that already has traffic down to one lane, and delays are the norm now even without accidents.
