Accused Raleigh County Robber Also Faces Charges in Kanawha County

A man accused of robbing a 91-year-old woman and her caregiver at gunpoint in Raleigh County also has been charged in Kanawha County too. 33-year old Brandon Cantely is charged with kidnapping and wanton endangerment after State Police said he forced a man to drive him to Boone County, then tied him to a tree and stole his vehicle in late July. Eyewitness News reports Cantley forced a man to drive from a grocery store in Charleston to a location in Marmet. While they were traveling, Cantley pulled a gun and forced him to drive to Boone County. Cantely was arrested August 9th for robbing an elderly woman and her caregiver.
