Alcohol on Sunday’s
Six West Virginia cities have been approved to move forward with local ordinances to allow for earlier alcohol sales on Sundays. The Municipal Home Rule Board gave approval to Clarksburg, Bluefield, Charleston, South Charleston, Lewisburg and Martinsburg. If the so called “Brunch Bill” is approved by local voters, beer, wine and liquor could be served in restaurants on Sundays as early as 10 a.m. instead of having to wait until 1 p.m. for an adult beverage.
