Animals seized

Charges are pending against the owners of dozens of animals that were seized from a farm and home in Sissonville. The Kanawha Charleston Humane Association says the animals seized yesterday were near death from a lack of food and water. Officers found nearly a dozen horses, a bull, a wild boar and more than a dozen pigs. At the home, rescue officers seized a deer, a turkey, about 15 chickens, several ducklings and chicks, dogs and cats.
