Arrests Made After Man Falls to his Death

Four people have been charged in the death of 23-year old Bryson Ward, a Detroit man who fell from a ninth-floor apartment window in Charleston. According to a criminal complaint, 23-year-old Tyler Ferrebee of Dunbar, 26-year-old Brian Parks of South Charleston and Martez Griffin each were charged with felony murder and first-degree robbery. Lisa Ferrebee, who is Tyler Ferrebee’s mother, was charged with accessory to felony murder and accessory to first-degree robbery. Neighbors heard a commotion, and Ward’s body was found below the window in the grass.
