Authorities investigating coal mining death

Authorities are investigating a mining death in a Raleigh County mine. Thirty-eight-year-old James Whitlock was doing electrical work Wednesday night at a Pocahontas Coal Company mine when he was killed. It’s the second West Virginia coal mine death this year. The state Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training is investigating.
