Bancroft man injuries another man, and throws punches at deputies

A Bancroft man is accused of severely injuring another man in a fight, and then hitting three deputies when they tried to arrest him. Thirty-nine-year-old Russell Lewis is charged with malicious wounding and battery on an officer. The victim suffered severe lacerations to the head and was taken to a local hospital. The three officers suffered minor injuries.
