Blanchard Winds up 5 Days of Testimony
The testimony is over for former Massey subsidiary president Christopher Blanchard, who had been on the stand for at least part of the last five days of the trial. Blanchard told the defense he didn’t break any laws or conspire with Blankenship to break laws. Prosecutors began questioning Blanchard last week under an immunity agreement, and then Blankenship’s attorneys followed them. The trial began October 1, and continues today.
