Blankenship Update

While their client remains locked up in a California prison, the lawyers for former Massey Energy Chief Executive Officer Don Blankenship keep fighting to win his release. This past week the law team asked the court for an eight-day extension for them to file their next appeal. They now have until February 10th. The former mining exec has been locked up at the Taft Correctional Facility since last May on a one-year sentence.
