Bridge Elementary School is closing

Bridge Elementary School is closing, after being severely damaged by flooding in 2016. The Kanawha County Board of Education approved the move last night. Bridge students will merge with Clendenin Elementary at a new school that will be built on Elk River Road. The new school is expected to open in 2020 or 2021.
