Bridge Inspections May Slow Traffic

If you found yourself moving more slowly on Interstate 64 yesterday it was due to inspections on the Eugene A Carter Memorial Bridge, and that will continue through the week. Today there will be a partial lane closure of the I-64 westbound entrance ramp from U.S. 119, and that’s from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tomorrow through Friday crews will close alternating lanes on MacCorkle Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. And Saturday and Sunday mornings they’ll have lane closures on I-64 westbound. The bridge inspection is routine, but delays are expected.
