Buckling Road Causes Closure in Braxton County
Drivers in Braxton County are having a rough go of it because of a spot in the road that’s buckling. The pavement in the southbound lanes of I-79 near Servia is lifted and cracked, and the roadway is shut down until further notice while crews make repairs. Crews are rerouting traffic off of the Frametown Exit, south on Route 4 to Servia Road and then back onto I-79. Social media posts say the detour is causing about a 15 to 20 minute delay.
