Budget Clock

Governor Justice’s website now includes a budget clock on the home page. Justice calls it a reminder that the House and Senate need to move quickly to pass a responsible budget before the legislative session ends on April 8th. Justice has made it clear that there is zero reason for lawmakers to wait for a special session to finalize the budget. The clock is also displayed outside the governor’s reception room so lawmakers and visitors can see it every day at the capitol.
