Campaign Funding

Changes to West Virginia’s campaign funding laws are moving along in the state Legislature. A bill was passed by the Senate Monday that would increase the limits on campaign donations with those in favor of the law saying it revises outdated rules. Opponents say it will give the wealthy more influence over who is in public office. The measure not head to the House for debate.
