Car hits teenager boarding a school bus

A 14-year-old boy was hit by a car when he was getting on a school bus Tuesday morning in Nitro. The boy is a student at Andrew Jackson Middle School; he was hit at a regular stop on First Avenue South. The driver said he didn’t see the bus. The teenager is hospitalized with extensive injuries.
