Charleston energy efficiency challenge
Bsiness officials, community reps and people who live in Charleston’s East End were talking energy efficiency Thursday. It’s part of an effort to improve energy efficiency in both homes and businesses around the area. Also discussed were results of the Energy Effiiciency in the East End initiative in which improvements have been made to homes inthe vicinity in the past two years. They’re also looking to expand the program throughout Charleston. The vision is to have neighborhoods compete against each other on energy efficiency in what’s ultimately a win-win scenario.
