Charleston Police Increase Patrols for Halloween
Charleston police will be out in force tonight for Halloween. Trick or treat is observed in the city from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Charleston police said in a news release that Halloween is a fun, family event for many, but there are others who drink and drive and officers will be on patrol looking for them. City police officers will focus on neighborhood traffic infractions and DUI enforcement. You’re encouraged to report anything that seems suspicious.
