Charleston Police to Participate in Drug Takeback Day
The Charleston Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration are teaming up for National Drug Take Back Day Saturday. You can turn in unused or expired prescription medication from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at several locations, including Walgreens on Washington Street in Charleston, the YWCA on Quarrier Street, the Dollar General on Washington Street East, the Piggly Wiggly on MacCorkle Ave. SE, and the Rite Aid on Bridge Road in Charleston. The UC Robert C. Byrd School of Pharmacy on MacCorkle Avenue will also accept drop offs.
