City of Nitro Deals With Billing Glitch

There are big problems with billing in Nitro, and it has little to do with money. The city’s electronic billing system was knocked out by a transformer, and there’s no word yet when it might be repaired. One hard drive was destroyed when the transformer blew, and that’s keeping municipal bills for fees and business occupation taxes from being sent out. Some are going in to pay bills in person, and it’s all being recorded manually until it’s fixed.
