Civic Center Renovations Should Finish in October

Costs have grown for the Civic Center renovation project. Another $100,000 is needed to renovate the locker rooms and update ventilation systems, and that brings the total cost now to over $97 million. The Gazette-Mail reported another $11,000 will be used to put a storm drain at the Quarrier Street Garage for a future river walkway. The target date for the Civic Center renovations to be complete is October 20, and that’s still on track.
